Reduced elafibranor exposure and reduced efficacy of elafibranor

Interaction Deep Dive

Coadministration of elafibranor and bile acid binding sequestrants may reduce elafibranor absorption and exposure and may reduce efficacy of elafibranor. Administer elafibranor at least 4 hours before or 4 hours after taking a bile acid binding sequestrant, or at as great an interval as possible1.
