Mometasone, formoterol falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Active Hexose Correlated Compound (ahcc) interacts with.

Theoretically, AHCC might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2D6.
In vitro studies suggest that AHCC might induce the CYP2D6 enzyme. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Let me put your mind at ease on this one. Zenhale combines two medicines you breathe into your lungs: mometasone (an inhaled steroid) and formoterol (a long-acting bronchodilator that opens your airways). The interaction on file says AHCC might speed up a liver enzyme called CYP2D6, which could lower blood levels of drugs cleared that way. In plain terms, that direction would mean a bit less drug effect, not more.

Here's the key thing: this concern comes only from lab dish studies, not from real people, and it has never been seen in humans. On top of that, inhaled Zenhale acts mostly right in your lungs, so very little reaches your bloodstream to begin with. I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, mention any new supplement to your pharmacist or doctor, especially if your breathing control changes.
