Bacampicillin falls under ANTIBIOTIC DRUGS — the group Bacillus Coagulans interacts with.

Theoretically, taking antibiotics with Bacillus coagulans might decrease the effectiveness of B. coagulans.
B. coagulans preparations usually contain live and active organisms. Therefore, simultaneously taking antibiotics might kill a significant number of the organisms. Tell patients to separate administration of antibiotics and B. coagulans preparations by at least two hours.

Here's the thing to keep in mind: this interaction goes one direction only. Bacampicillin (Penglobe) is an antibiotic, and like other antibiotics, it can't tell the difference between unwanted bacteria and the friendly Bacillus coagulans in your probiotic. If you swallow them at the same time, the antibiotic may kill off a good chunk of those live organisms before they get to work, so you'd basically be wasting your probiotic.

The good news is your Bacampicillin will still do its job fighting your infection just fine. This won't make the antibiotic weaker or cause more side effects. To get the most out of your probiotic, a simple fix is to space them at least two hours apart. As always, run it by your pharmacist if you're unsure.
