Celecoxib, Tramadol falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Fo-ti interacts with.

Theoretically, fo-ti may increase the levels and clinical effects of drugs metabolized by CYP2D6.
Animal research suggests that fo-ti might inhibit CYP2D6. Additionally, an in vitro study suggests that the degree of CYP2D6 inhibition may depend on the type of fo-ti extract (i.e., the raw plant leads to greater inhibition than extensively processed extracts). However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

Seglentis combines two medicines, and the tramadol half is the one that involves CYP2D6. Here's the twist: tramadol is partly a prodrug. Your body uses CYP2D6 to turn it into a stronger pain-relieving form. If Fo-ti blocks that enzyme, as some lab and animal studies suggest, you may convert less tramadol into its active form, which can mean weaker pain control. At the same time, the parent tramadol can linger, which may slightly raise the chance of side effects like dizziness, nausea, or drowsiness. The celecoxib part isn't really affected here.

Keep in mind this is only theoretical, based on test-tube and animal data, and hasn't been seen in people. Still, since Fo-ti has its own liver-safety concerns, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Seglentis is a combo pill that pairs celecoxib (an anti-inflammatory) with tramadol (a pain reliever). The celecoxib half is cleared mainly by a liver enzyme called CYP2C9. In lab dishes and animal studies, Fo-ti appears to slow that enzyme down. If that happened in people, celecoxib could build up a bit, which might mean more of its usual side effects like stomach upset, heartburn, fluid retention, or higher blood pressure.

Here's the honest part: this is only a theoretical concern. It has not actually been reported in humans, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since Fo-ti itself has been tied to liver problems and this drug is already taxing on the body, please run it past your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Theoretically, fo-ti might increase the levels and clinical effects of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research suggests that fo-ti might inhibit CYP3A4. One in vitro study suggests that the degree of CYP3A4 inhibition may depend on the type of fo-ti extract (i.e., the raw plant leads to greater inhibition than extensively processed extracts). However, this evidence conflicts with animal research suggesting that fo-ti does not inhibit CYP3A4. This interaction has not been reported in humans.

Seglentis combines two pain medicines: celecoxib (an anti-inflammatory) and tramadol (an opioid-type pain reliever). Both are partly handled by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. The thinking here is that fo-ti might slow that enzyme down, which could let these drugs build up a little. With celecoxib, that might mean more stomach upset, fluid retention, or kidney strain. With tramadol it could mean more drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, or constipation.

I want to be honest about the strength of this: it only comes from lab studies, animal research actually disagreed, and it has never been reported in real people. So I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since fo-ti itself has been tied to liver problems, please run this combination by your pharmacist or doctor before mixing them.
