Glasdegib falls under QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS — the group K2/spice interacts with.

Theoretically, K2/spice might have an additive effect with drugs that prolong the QT interval and increase the risk of ventricular arrhythmias.
There have been numerous cases of increased QT and corrected QT intervals in patients using K2/spice.

Here's the short version: Glasdegib (Daurismo) can stretch out your heart's electrical cycle, something doctors call QT prolongation. When the QT interval gets too long, it raises the risk of a dangerous, irregular heartbeat. K2/Spice has been linked to the very same problem in a number of case reports, so using both together could add up and make that heart risk worse.

I'll be straight with you, though: K2/Spice should not be used at all. It's plant material soaked in lab-made chemicals that change batch to batch, and it has caused seizures, psychosis, and deaths even without another medication in the picture. With a serious cancer drug like glasdegib on board, please don't risk it. Talk with your oncologist or pharmacist about anything you're taking.

What Is Glasdegib Used For?

Brand name: Daurismo

Daurismo (glasdegib) is approved to treat newly-diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) — a fast-growing cancer of the blood and bone marrow. It is used specifically in adults who are 75 years of age or older, or in adults of any age whose other health conditions make intensive induction chemotherapy too risky.

Daurismo is not used alone. It is always given together with low-dose cytarabine, a separate chemotherapy medicine, as part of a 28-day treatment cycle.
