Karaya gum is a natural plant gum from the Sterculia tree that is mostly used as a bulk-forming laxative and as a thickener or adhesive in food, dental, and ostomy products. As a fiber-type laxative it may help with occasional constipation, but high-quality evidence is limited, and it should be taken with plenty of water to avoid choking or blockage. What Is Nirogacestat Used For?

Brand name: Ogsiveo

Ogsiveo (nirogacestat) is used to treat adults with desmoid tumors that are growing or progressing and require systemic (whole-body) treatment. Desmoid tumors are rare, locally aggressive growths that arise from connective tissue.

This indication is specific to Ogsiveo tablets taken by mouth. It is not approved for use in children, as safety and effectiveness have not been established in pediatric patients.
