Domperidone falls under P-GLYCOPROTEIN SUBSTRATES — the group Oregon Grape interacts with.

Theoretically, Oregon grape might increase serum levels of drugs that are P-glycoprotein (P-gp) substrates.
In vitro research suggests that Oregon grape extracts inhibit P-gp efflux.

Here's the gist: domperidone is partly pushed out of your body by a transporter called P-glycoprotein (P-gp). The berberine-type compounds in Oregon grape have shown, in lab dish studies only, that they can slow that transporter down. If that happened in a real person, more domperidone could linger in the bloodstream, nudging up its usual effects and side effects.

Why I pay attention with this one: domperidone can affect heart rhythm (a QT prolongation risk), and higher levels could make that more likely, along with headache or dry mouth. That said, this is theoretical and based on test-tube work, not real patients, so I wouldn't panic. Just loop in your pharmacist or doctor before pairing concentrated Oregon grape supplements with domperidone.
