Brand name: Kerydin

Tavaborole topical solution is used to treat onychomycosis of the toenails — a fungal infection of the toenails caused by Trichophyton rubrum or Trichophyton mentagrophytes, the two most common nail fungi.

It is applied directly to the toenail and is approved for adults and children 6 years of age and older.
