Red-spur Valerian Overview
Red spur valerian (Centranthus ruber) is a perennial plant native to the Mediterranean region. It has pink or red flowers that bloom in the summer and can reach a height of up to 3 feet. It is also known as "Jupiter's beard" and "Devil's beard." In traditional medicine, red spur valerian has been used as a sedative and to promote sleep, as well as to treat digestive issues, and headaches. It should not be confused with a more commonly used herb, valerian (Valeriana officinalis). Red spur valerian and valerian are two different plants. While both are used in traditional medicine, they have different characteristics and uses.
Droxidopa Overview

Droxidopa is used to treat symptoms (dizziness, lightheadedness, or a fainting sensation [feeling that you are about to black out]) of neurogenic orthostatic hypotension (a sudden fall in blood pressure that occurs when a person assumes a standing position caused by certain nervous system conditions). Droxidopa is in a class of medications called alpha and beta-adrenergic agonists. It works by increasing the levels of norepinephrine, a natural substance in the body.
