Here's the thing to keep in mind. Cyclothiazide is a thiazide-type water pill, and one of its known effects is that it pushes potassium out through your urine. Senna, when overused, can also drain potassium because it speeds things through your gut. Put the two together heavily and you could end up with low potassium (hypokalemia), which can show up as muscle weakness or cramps, fatigue, or an irregular heartbeat.

This is a theoretical concern, mostly tied to overusing senna, not the occasional dose for a few days. Still, if you find yourself reaching for senna often while on cyclothiazide, check in with your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on your potassium. Don't change either one on your own.
