Soybean Oil + Nadolol
Nadolol brand names: Corgard, Nadolol.
We found no known interaction between Soybean Oil and Nadolol in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Do not start, stop, or change a medication or supplement based on this page; confirm with your pharmacist or doctor first.
Soybean Oil and Nadolol
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Nadolol and Soybean Oil in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.
Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Soybean Oil at all — not against Nadolol, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.
If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Nadolol page
“If you take nadolol (Corgard) for blood pressure, angina, or heart rhythm, treat this list with real care, and green tea is the surprise at the top. In a clinical study, green tea cut nadolol blood levels by roughly 85 percent, which can quietly leave you undertreated.”

About Soybean Oil
What is Soybean Oil?
- Source of dietary fat and calories
- Heart and cholesterol support
- Skin moisturizing and barrier care
- Part of intravenous (IV) nutrition in hospitals
- Carrier oil in supplements and cosmetics
Soybean oil is a common edible vegetable oil rich in polyunsaturated fats, including omega-6 and some omega-3 fatty acids. As part of a balanced diet it may help support healthy cholesterol when it replaces saturated fats, but it is high in calories, and people with soy allergy should be careful. Talk to your pharmacist or doctor before using it as a supplement.
Glycine max · Fabaceae · Oil pressed from the seeds (soybeans) · Cooking oil, softgel capsules, emulsions used in intravenous nutrition, topical skin products, and an ingredient in many processed foods
An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Soybean Oil is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Soybean Oil record says about it on its own.
Soybean Oil: dosing
There is no official standardized supplement dose of soybean oil. As a food, it is used in normal cooking amounts, and as part of a healthy diet experts generally suggest replacing saturated fats with unsaturated oils rather than simply adding more oil.For supplement products such as softgels, follow the directions on the product label.

About Nadolol
What Is Nadolol Used For?
Brand names: Corgard, Nadolol
Nadolol tablets are used for two main conditions: high blood pressure (hypertension) and angina pectoris (ongoing chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart). Lowering high blood pressure reduces the risk of stroke and heart attack.
For high blood pressure, nadolol may be prescribed on its own or combined with other blood pressure medications, especially thiazide-type diuretics (water pills). For angina, it is used for long-term management to help reduce how often chest pain occurs.
Most-Reported Side Effects for Nadolol
From FAERS, the FDA’s public side-effect reporting system (7,530 reports, all brands). Reports are voluntary and are not proof the drug caused the effect.

Nadolol Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Nadolol as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Soybean Oil — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
