Tai Chi and Tazemetostat Hydrobromide

We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.

No Known Interaction Found

We did not find a documented interaction between Tazemetostat Hydrobromide and Tai Chi in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — research on Tai Chi alongside specific medications may be limited.

Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Tai Chi at all — not against Tazemetostat Hydrobromide, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.

Tai Chi is a practice rather than something you take. Ask your care team whether the type and intensity you plan to practice are appropriate for your health and treatment. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.

Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

From the ADVERSE REACTIONS section of the FDA label for Tazemetostat Hydrobromide. Read the label on DailyMed › Tai Chi’s licensed record lists no adverse effects our clinical vocabulary could match, so there is no Tai Chi side to compare — that is a limit of the record, not a statement that Tai Chi has no side effects.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Tazemetostat Hydrobromide page

“Tazemetostat (Tazverik) is a targeted cancer medicine, and because a lot rides on keeping its dose steady, this interaction list deserves genuine care. Almost all 138 interacting ingredients act on the liver enzyme CYP3A4, which clears tazemetostat from the body.”

Where does our data come from?
  • Source: the Natural Medicines (TRC Healthcare) clinical database — the evidence-graded professional reference for herb & supplement interactions. Tai Chi is not yet covered by that licensed database, so its write-up cites publicly available medical sources directly (see the references below).
  • Citation library: 103,510 references behind our interaction content, 65,311 of them resolved to verified PubMed/DOI sources. See every Tai Chi reference on this page ↓
  • Freshness: we automatically re-check this combination every week — this pair was last verified September 13, 2026. The Tai Chi and Tazemetostat Hydrobromide records this page draws on were last updated June 22, 2026.
  • What “no known interaction” means: no documented interaction in the sources above — not a guarantee of safety. Supplements are studied far less than prescription drugs, so we say exactly what the evidence supports, and nothing more.

About Tai Chi

What is Tai Chi?

  • Balance and fall prevention
  • Stress and relaxation
  • Joint pain and arthritis
  • Heart and lung health
  • Better sleep
  • General fitness and flexibility

Tai Chi is a gentle, low-impact mind-body exercise that combines slow flowing movements, breathing, and focused attention. Research suggests it can improve balance, reduce falls, ease some chronic pain, and lower stress, and it is safe for most people. It is a practice, not a pill, so there are no doses or supplement risks to worry about.

An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Tai Chi is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Tai Chi record says about it on its own.

Tai Chi: dosing

There is no "dose" for Tai Chi the way there is for a supplement. Many beginner programs involve sessions of about 30 to 60 minutes, done a few times a week, and benefits tend to grow with regular practice over weeks to months. The best approach is to follow your class or instructor's guidance and build up gradually at a pace that feels comfortable.

About Tazemetostat

What Is Tazemetostat Used For?

Brand name: Tazverik

Tazverik (tazemetostat) tablets are used to treat adults and patients aged 16 and older with metastatic or locally advanced epithelioid sarcoma (a rare soft-tissue cancer) that cannot be completely removed by surgery.

Tazverik is also used in adults with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma — meaning the lymphoma has come back or stopped responding to treatment — either when the tumor carries a specific EZH2 gene mutation (confirmed by an FDA-approved test) after at least two prior treatments, or when there are no other satisfactory treatment options. Both uses were approved based on response rates, and continued approval may depend on results from ongoing confirmatory studies.
