Glucovance combines two diabetes medicines: glyburide, which prompts your body to release more insulin, and metformin, which lowers the sugar your liver makes. The concern here is pretty simple. Tribulus may have a mild blood-sugar-lowering effect of its own, so layering it on top of Glucovance could push your numbers down further than expected. That can lead to hypoglycemia, with symptoms like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a fast heartbeat, confusion, or feeling suddenly weak or hungry.

The evidence is on the weaker side and mostly early-stage, so this won't happen to everyone. Still, if you decide to try Tribulus, it's worth checking your blood sugar more closely at first and chatting with your pharmacist or doctor before starting. Please don't change your Glucovance dose on your own.
