Synjardy XR pairs two glucose-lowering medicines, empagliflozin and metformin, which is exactly why its 258-ingredient supplement list warrants real caution. The dominant pattern is additive. Most of these herbs and extracts lower blood sugar on their own, and stacked on a diabetes drug they can drop it too far. Siberian cocklebur is the sharpest example, with documented cases of dangerously low blood sugar in people.
