Chamomile is generally well tolerated by most adults, but allergic reactions are a real concern — particularly if you're sensitive to ragweed or related plants, since they're botanically related. Reactions can range from mild (itching, sneezing, watery eyes) to severe (anaphylaxis).

Cns Depressants

Theoretically, German chamomile might have additive effects when used with CNS depressants.
German chamomile has mild sedative effects. Theoretically, concomitant use with drugs with sedative properties can cause additive effects and side effects.
