Form-XT Ingredients & Drug Interactions
by LG Sciences
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Form-XT against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Form-XT by LG Sciences
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
Form-XT contains three active ingredients: trans-resveratrol (a polyphenol found in grape skins and red wine), arimistane (a hormone-altering compound also called androst-3,5-diene-7,17-dione), and (-)-epicatechin (a type of flavonoid). The product also contains several inactive ingredients—microcrystalline cellulose, phosphatidylcholine, hydroxypropyl beta cyclodextrin, phytosterols, magnesium stearate, silica, and food colorants—that serve as fillers, binders, and capsule material.
Does it work?
Not established
Resveratrol is possibly effective for obesity and allergic rhinitis (hay fever), but the evidence suggests it is possibly ineffective for cardiovascular disease and high cholesterol. Arimistane has insufficient reliable evidence to rate for athletic performance, erectile dysfunction, muscle strength, sexual arousal, or obesity—meaning studies haven't established that it works for these purposes.
We hold no effectiveness data for (-)-epicatechin in this product.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Resveratrol is generally well tolerated at typical supplement doses, though high doses may cause digestive upset—diarrhea, loose stools, and gastrointestinal discomfort are the most common side effects. Long-term safety is not fully known.
Cases of headache, fatigue, memory loss, and a skin rash have been reported in clinical trials, though causality wasn't always established. Arimistane is a hormone-altering drug with very limited safety data; regulators warn against aromatase inhibitor supplements.
The safety data for arimistane during pregnancy advises against use because lowering estrogen could be harmful, and there is no data to support breastfeeding use—consult your doctor or pharmacist about either situation. Resveratrol concentrated supplements should be avoided during pregnancy, and the data does not support use while breastfeeding.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking Form-XT, check with your doctor or pharmacist if you take anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs (blood thinners like warfarin, apixaban, or aspirin), since resveratrol may increase bleeding risk. Also double-check any medications metabolized by liver enzymes CYP2C19, CYP1A2, CYP2E1, or CYP3A4, and any aromatase inhibitors.
These interactions have not been extensively tested in humans, but the potential exists.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no established evidence rating for its marketed use. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
Form-XT combines a plant polyphenol (resveratrol) with a hormone-altering ingredient (arimistane) that carry meaningful drug interactions and limited safety information. If you take blood thinners, antiplatelet drugs, liver-metabolized medications, or aromatase inhibitors, you need to check this product with your doctor or pharmacist before starting.
Anyone of childbearing age should discuss arimistane's pregnancy and lactation risks with their healthcare provider.

Form-XT by LG Sciences Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Form-XT by LG Sciences contains resveratrol and arimistane, both of which have documented interactions with medications.
The most serious concern is resveratrol's potential to increase bleeding risk when combined with blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs (anticoagulants or aspirin-type medications).
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Resveratrol may also affect how your body metabolizes several classes of drugs by inhibiting liver enzymes. It can theoretically increase blood levels of medications broken down by CYP2C19, CYP1A2, CYP2E1, and CYP3A4 enzymes—though in the case of CYP3A4, a clinical trial at high doses did not require dose adjustments.
The effects on the other three pathways have not been tested in humans, only in the lab.
Arimistane is believed to inhibit aromatase, an enzyme involved in estrogen production. If you take other aromatase inhibitors—whether for breast cancer or another indication—combining them could potentially raise the risk of side effects from low estrogen or liver toxicity.
One ingredient, (-)-epicatechin, we could not check for interactions. Altogether, these interactions span 824 individual medications.
Use the interaction checker below with your exact medications before starting this product, and discuss it with your doctor or pharmacist if you take blood thinners, cancer medications, or any drug metabolized by the liver enzymes listed above.

Trans-Resveratrol
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Resveratrol may have antiplatelet effects and may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Resveratrol seems to have antiplatelet effects.
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP1A2.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit CYP1A2 enzymes. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2C19 (Cyp2C19) Substrates
Theoretically, resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2C19.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit CYP2C19 enzymes. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2E1 (Cyp2E1) Substrates
Resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2E1.
In vitro research suggests that resveratrol inhibits CYP2E1 isoenzyme. Also, a pharmacokinetic study shows that taking resveratrol 500 mg daily for 10 days prior to taking a single dose of chlorzoxazone 250 mg increases the maximum concentration of chlorzoxazone by about 54%, the area under the curve of chlorzoxazone by about 72%, and the half-life of chlorzoxazone by about 35%. Chlorzoxazone is used as a probe drug for CYP2E1.
Cytochrome P450 3A4 (Cyp3A4) Substrates
Theoretically, resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit the CYP3A4 enzyme. However, clinical research shows that taking resveratrol 3000 mg daily for 8 weeks does not necessitate dose adjustments to medications metabolized by CYP3A4.
Androst-3,5-diene-7,17-dione
Aromatase Inhibitors
It is believed that Arimistane inhibits the aromatase enzyme, which may interact with other aromatase inhibitors. This interaction could potentially increase the risk of side effects associated with low estrogen levels or from additive side effects, such as an increased risk of liver toxicity. It is recommended to consult with a healthcare provider before combining Arimistane with other aromatase inhibitors to assess the potential risks and benefits.
