What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: Jin Yin Hua, a dried flower liquid extract from Lonicera japonica, commonly known as honeysuckle. The extract is suspended in menstruum (a solvent used to extract and preserve plant compounds).
Honeysuckle has been used in traditional medicine for a number of conditions, though the evidence base we hold is limited.
Does it work?
Couldn't assess
The evidence we hold on honeysuckle doesn't establish that it works for the conditions it's traditionally used for — including age-related cognitive decline, respiratory tract infections, eczema, diabetes, and indigestion. For all of these, the research is insufficient to rate it reliably.
That doesn't mean it doesn't work; it means we don't have the data to say.
How safe is it?
Some data gaps
Honeysuckle is often brewed as a tea with few reported problems, but human safety data is limited overall. A case report documents contact dermatitis (skin irritation) from topical application, and one young adult developed an allergic skin rash after taking 30 grams of honeysuckle granules over 24 hours — symptoms resolved once he stopped and received antihistamines and a steroid.
There isn't enough safety information to recommend honeysuckle during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, so it's best avoided at those times.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Check your medications against this product if you take anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs — blood thinners, aspirin, clopidogrel, warfarin, and similar medications. Honeysuckle may increase bleeding risk with these drugs.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no assessable stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and some safety-information gaps remain.
If you take blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs, check with your pharmacist before starting this product — the interaction is real and matters. For everyone else, honeysuckle is traditionally used for several conditions, but the evidence backing those uses isn't established in the data we hold.
Talk to your pharmacist if you're wondering whether it's right for you.

Jin Yin Hua by Herbal Terra Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Jin Yin Hua by Herbal Terra contains honeysuckle flower extract, which does interact with blood thinners and antiplatelet drugs (medications that prevent clots).
Lab research shows that compounds in honeysuckle can inhibit platelet aggregation — essentially making blood less likely to clot — so taking it alongside anticoagulants like warfarin or antiplatelet drugs like aspirin or clopidogrel could theoretically raise your bleeding risk. This is a Moderate-severity interaction.
