Here's the short version: abciximab (ReoPro) is a strong IV antiplatelet drug given in the hospital, usually during heart procedures like stents. Its whole job is to stop platelets from clumping so blood doesn't clot in the wrong place. Honeysuckle contains plant compounds (polyphenols) that, in lab dishes, also slowed platelet clumping. Stacked together, the worry is a little extra bleeding risk, like bruising more easily, bleeding gums, or oozing from a puncture site.

Honestly, this is a theoretical concern based only on test-tube research, not on people. And abciximab is given under close monitoring by your care team, so they're already watching for bleeding. Still, mention any honeysuckle tea or supplement to your doctor or pharmacist before a procedure so they have the full picture.
