Here's the thing to know about Treximet, which combines naproxen (an NSAID) with sumatriptan. The naproxen part already has a mild blood-thinning effect, since NSAIDs make platelets a little less sticky and can irritate the stomach lining. Honeysuckle has been studied in the lab, where its plant compounds (polyphenols) also slowed platelets from clumping together. Stacked on top of naproxen, that could in theory add up to a bit more bleeding risk.

I want to be honest though: this is only test-tube research, not proven in people, so I wouldn't lose sleep over a cup of honeysuckle tea. Just watch for easy bruising, nosebleeds, dark stools, or stomach upset, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding concentrated honeysuckle supplements.
