Here's the thing to know about pairing honeysuckle with iloprost (Ventavis). Besides relaxing the blood vessels in your lungs, iloprost also makes your platelets a little less sticky, so it has a mild blood-thinning side. Honeysuckle may do something similar. In lab studies (test tube only, not people), plant compounds from honeysuckle slowed platelet clumping. Stack those two together and, in theory, you could bruise more easily or bleed a bit longer from a small cut.

I want to be honest though: this is theoretical and based on weak, early evidence. A cup of honeysuckle tea likely matters far less than a concentrated supplement. Before adding either, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor so they can check your full picture.
