Abciximab falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Tiratricol interacts with.

Theoretically, tiratricol might increase the hypoprothrombinemic effects of oral anticoagulants.
Tiratricol is related to thyroid hormones such as levothyroxine. The hypoprothrombinemic effects of oral anticoagulants, including warfarin (Coumadin), are increased by levothyroxine due to increased catabolism of vitamin K-dependent clotting factors. It is not known if tiratricol has a similar effect.

Here's the honest picture for abciximab (ReoPro). This is a hospital IV medicine that stops platelets from clumping, and it's given during procedures like cardiac stenting. The interaction we have on file is really about thyroid-like supplements possibly boosting oral blood thinners (such as warfarin) by speeding up the breakdown of vitamin K clotting factors. Abciximab doesn't work through vitamin K at all, so that specific mechanism doesn't apply neatly here.

Still, both abciximab and tiratricol can stress the body in ways that raise bleeding or heart-strain risk, and this concern is purely theoretical. Honestly, tiratricol isn't a safe supplement to begin with, so please mention any product like this to your care team before a procedure.
