Here is the thing about glucagon: it is your rescue medicine for a severe low blood sugar, the kind where someone needs help fast. It works by telling your liver to dump stored sugar back into your blood. So anything that messes with your overall blood sugar control matters here.

Tiratricol acts like a thyroid hormone, and thyroid hormones can shift how your body handles sugar. The concern is theoretical, meaning it is based on how these things behave in the body, not on solid studies with glucagon. The bigger issue is that tiratricol itself is unsafe and FDA-warned, and it can strain your heart and throw off your sugar control, which could make lows (or highs) harder to manage.
