Ketoprofen falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Tiratricol interacts with.

Theoretically, tiratricol might increase the hypoprothrombinemic effects of oral anticoagulants.
Tiratricol is related to thyroid hormones such as levothyroxine. The hypoprothrombinemic effects of oral anticoagulants, including warfarin (Coumadin), are increased by levothyroxine due to increased catabolism of vitamin K-dependent clotting factors. It is not known if tiratricol has a similar effect.

Here's the honest picture with ketoprofen and tiratricol. Ketoprofen is an NSAID, so on its own it can already thin the blood a bit and irritate the stomach lining, which raises the chance of bruising, stomach upset, or bleeding. Tiratricol acts like thyroid hormone, and thyroid hormones can speed up the breakdown of certain clotting factors. Put together, the worry is a slightly higher bleeding tendency.

I want to be clear that this is a theoretical concern based on how these substances behave, not something proven for ketoprofen specifically. Honestly, the bigger issue is that tiratricol itself is an unapproved, risky ingredient the FDA has warned against. Please don't start it, and run any product containing it by your pharmacist or doctor first.

What Is Ketoprofen Used For?

Brand names: Orudis, Oruvail Gel, Powergel, Oruvail Injection

Ketoprofen capsules (including the brand Orudis) are used to manage the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, to treat pain, and to treat primary dysmenorrhea (painful menstrual periods).

Ketoprofen extended-release capsules are approved for rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis only. Because of the way they slowly release the drug, ketoprofen extended-release capsules are not recommended for treating acute (sudden) pain.
