Dasiglucagon Hydrochloride falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Tiratricol interacts with.

First, a safety note: tiratricol (TRIAC) is not a real dietary supplement. It acts like a strong thyroid hormone, and the FDA has warned people away from it because it can stress the heart and thyroid. The smartest move is simply to avoid it.

As for dasiglucagon (Zegalogue), this is your emergency rescue treatment for severe low blood sugar. The concern here is only theoretical and based on pharmacology, not real cases. Because tiratricol behaves like thyroid hormone, it could nudge your overall blood sugar control around, much like levothyroxine sometimes does. That doesn't mean dasiglucagon will stop working in a crisis, but unstable blood sugar makes managing diabetes harder. Please run any product like this past your pharmacist or doctor before using it.

What Is Dasiglucagon Injection Used For?

Brand name: Zegalogue

Zegalogue is used to treat severe hypoglycemia — a dangerously low blood sugar episode — in adults and children aged 6 years and older who have diabetes. Severe hypoglycemia is a medical emergency that requires immediate action.

Zegalogue is not a day-to-day diabetes medicine. It is prescribed as an emergency kit to be on hand in case a person with diabetes becomes unresponsive or cannot safely swallow food or juice to raise their blood sugar.
