Bromfenac Sodium falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Tiratricol interacts with.

Theoretically, tiratricol might increase the hypoprothrombinemic effects of oral anticoagulants.
Tiratricol is related to thyroid hormones such as levothyroxine. The hypoprothrombinemic effects of oral anticoagulants, including warfarin (Coumadin), are increased by levothyroxine due to increased catabolism of vitamin K-dependent clotting factors. It is not known if tiratricol has a similar effect.

Here's the good news first: Bromfenac (Prolensa, Bromsite) is an eye drop you use after cataract surgery, and it works right at the surface of your eye to calm swelling and pain. Very little of it gets into your bloodstream, so this particular bleeding-related interaction isn't really aimed at a drug like bromfenac. The concern on file is about oral blood thinners such as warfarin, where a thyroid-like compound like tiratricol could theoretically thin the blood a bit more.

That said, bromfenac is an NSAID, and NSAIDs as a group can nudge bleeding risk. With drops, that risk is small. The bigger issue is tiratricol itself, which the FDA has warned against because it can stress your heart and thyroid. Please talk with your pharmacist or doctor before mixing these.
