Here's the simple version: tiratricol acts like a thyroid hormone, and so does dextrothyroxine (Choloxin). Taking both at once means you're essentially stacking two thyroid-like substances on top of each other, and their effects add up. Think of it as flooring the gas pedal on your metabolism with both feet.

When thyroid activity gets pushed too high, you can run into a racing or irregular heartbeat, chest discomfort, shakiness, sweating, trouble sleeping, weight loss, and feeling anxious or overheated. For someone with any heart issues, that's a real safety concern. On top of that, tiratricol isn't an approved supplement and the FDA has warned against it. Please don't combine these without talking to your pharmacist or doctor first.
