- The olive tree (Olea europaea) has been an integral part of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cultures for millennia. Although traditional herbalists have primarily used its leaves in teas, they have also been sued in foods. Olive leaves have the highest free radical scavenging power amount the different parts of the olive tree. NOW Olive Leaf extract is manufactured under strict quality control conditions and is standardized to a minimum of 6% oleuropein.
