Eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid are omega-3 fatty acids—the key players in fish oil supplements that support heart and brain health. The product also includes total phospholipids, a group of fat-like substances that make up cell membranes.
The capsule itself is made from beef gelatin and contains a small amount of natural mixed tocopherols (vitamin E) as a preservative, plus glycerin, water, and natural vanilla flavor.

Evidence for these ingredients is mixed. Phosphatidyl choline shows possibly effective evidence for ulcerative colitis (a type of inflammatory bowel disease), though the data is limited.
For other uses—nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, alcohol-related liver disease, Alzheimer disease, and anxiety—the evidence isn't established. Both phosphatidyl choline and choline are generally well tolerated at normal doses. At high doses—choline above 3.5 grams daily, or phosphatidyl choline at 30 grams daily—they can cause digestive upset like bloating, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting.
Choline may also cause a fishy body odor. Phosphatidyl choline may increase sweating and itching when taken by mouth.
For pregnancy, choline is important and rated likely safe, but the safety of high-dose supplements beyond what food provides isn't well studied; talk with your doctor about what's right for you. Breastfeeding requirements for choline are higher, and supplement use should be guided by your healthcare provider.
