This prenatal supplement contains three active ingredients. Two are omega-3 fatty acids — eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid — which are the key components of fish oil.
The third is alpha-glycerophosphocholine (alpha-GPC), a compound derived from phospholipids that supports brain health. The remaining ingredients are inactive carriers and stabilizers, including fish gelatin, glycerin, and other plant-derived compounds.
Does it work?
Insufficient evidence
Alpha-GPC has possibly effective evidence for Alzheimer disease. For other conditions this product may target — brain tumors, cognitive function, vascular dementia, and stroke — the evidence we hold is insufficient to rate its benefit.

How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Alpha-GPC is generally well tolerated in studies, though long-term safety isn't fully established. Rarely, people taking it orally have reported dizziness, headache, insomnia, nausea, heartburn, and diarrhea.
Very rarely, oral use for at least 2 months has been associated with an elevated stroke risk compared with non-users or shorter-term users.
