What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: Restharrow Glycerite Liquid Extract, a traditional herbal preparation. It's formulated as a liquid with glycerin and strawberry flavor as inactive ingredients to make it palatable.
Does it work?
Insufficient evidence
The evidence we hold for restharrow doesn't establish that it works for benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate), kidney stones, urinary tract infections, or gastritis — the ratings show insufficient reliable evidence for all of them. That doesn't mean it's ineffective, only that rigorous human trials backing these uses aren't in our data.
How safe is it?
Some data gaps
Restharrow is traditionally used, but human safety data are limited, so we treat it with caution. The safety data advises against use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, since there isn't enough information to know it's safe in those situations.
If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or thinking about it, talk with your doctor or pharmacist about whether this product is right for you.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
If you take lithium for mood disorders, double-check with your pharmacist before using this product — restharrow may raise lithium levels and increase its effects.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with insufficient evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and some safety-information gaps remain.
Restharrow Strawberry Flavor is a traditional herbal extract with uncertain effectiveness for the conditions it's typically used for. If you take lithium, check with your pharmacist before starting.
Pregnant and breastfeeding people should avoid it. For anyone else considering it, a quick conversation with your pharmacist about your full medication list is worth the time.
