What’s inside
Full disclosure
This powder is 100% strawberry — just one active ingredient with no other fillers listed. You're getting freeze-dried strawberry fruit in a powdered form, the kind you'd mix into smoothies or other foods.
Does it work?
Couldn't assess
The evidence we hold doesn't establish that strawberry powder works for heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, or high blood pressure. The data shows insufficient evidence to rate it for any of those uses.
That doesn't mean it won't help — it means the studies we have aren't strong enough yet to say either way.
How safe is it?
Some data gaps
Strawberry fruit is widely eaten and considered safe in normal food amounts. The powder form — especially in concentrated supplement doses — hasn't been well studied, so there isn't enough safety data for pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Talk with your doctor or pharmacist if you're pregnant, planning pregnancy, or nursing. When taken in everyday food amounts, strawberry is generally well tolerated.
At medicinal doses like the 50 grams daily tested in trials, a small number of people reported nausea. Allergic reactions are rare but do happen — watch for oral allergy syndrome (itching or swelling in your mouth), skin reactions, or contact dermatitis if you apply it to skin.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Check your exact medications before starting strawberry powder, especially blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs like warfarin, aspirin, or clopidogrel (Plavix) — there's a moderate risk of increased bleeding. Also check if you take any p-glycoprotein substrates, a large group of medications, since strawberry may slow how your body clears them.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no assessable stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and some safety-information gaps remain.
Strawberry powder might interest you if you eat it as a whole food, but the supplement form hasn't proven effective for heart, blood sugar, or cholesterol concerns. If you take blood thinners, antiplatelet drugs, or any medication cleared by p-glycoprotein, check with your pharmacist first — this powder could change how those drugs work.

Strawberry Powder by BulkSupplements.com Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Strawberry Powder by BulkSupplements.com contains one active ingredient — strawberry powder — and it does interact with certain medications.
Strawberry extract may inhibit p-glycoprotein, a protein that helps your body clear certain drugs from your system. If it's slowed down, levels of those drugs could build up.
This is a moderate concern, and until we know more, you should use strawberry cautiously if you take p-glycoprotein substrates.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Strawberry also appears to affect bleeding. In lab and animal studies, strawberry extract has shown the ability to slow platelet clumping (platelet aggregation), a key part of blood clotting.
Combined with blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs like aspirin or clopidogrel (Plavix), there's a moderate risk of increased bleeding.
Altogether, these interactions span 310 individual medications. Run your exact medications through the search tool below before you start.

For each ingredient in Strawberry Powder with known interactions, here are the types of medications it can affect. Open any type for the detail — or search your exact drug in the checker above.
Strawberry powder
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
In vitro and animal research suggests that strawberry extract can inhibit platelet aggregation due to its phenolic content. Theoretically, strawberry might increase the risk of bleeding when used with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs.
Some anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs include aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), dalteparin (Fragmin), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, ticlopidine (Ticlid), warfarin (Coumadin), and others.
P-Glycoprotein Substrates
In vitro research suggests that strawberry extract can inhibit p-glycoprotein efflux. Theoretically, strawberry might inhibit p-glycoprotein mediated drug efflux and potentially increase levels of drugs that are substrates of p-glycoprotein. Until more is known, strawberry should be used cautiously in people taking p-glycoprotein substrates.
Drugs that might be affected include some chemotherapeutic agents (etoposide, paclitaxel, vinblastine, vincristine, vindesine), antifungals (ketoconazole, itraconazole), protease inhibitors (amprenavir, indinavir, nelfinavir, saquinavir), H2 antagonists (cimetidine, ranitidine), some calcium channel blockers (diltiazem, verapamil), corticosteroids, erythromycin, cisapride (Propulsid), fexofenadine (Allegra), cyclosporine, loperamide (Imodium), quinidine, and others.
