In vitro and animal research suggests that strawberry extract can inhibit platelet aggregation due to its phenolic content. Theoretically, strawberry might increase the risk of bleeding when used with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs.
Some anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs include aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), dalteparin (Fragmin), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, ticlopidine (Ticlid), warfarin (Coumadin), and others.

Here's the practical picture for Cangrelor (Kengreal). This is a powerful IV blood thinner given in the hospital during procedures like a cardiac stent placement, so it's already working hard to keep your platelets from clumping. Some lab and animal studies hint that strawberry's plant compounds (the polyphenols) might also nudge platelets to stick together less. Stacked together, the theory is a slightly higher chance of bleeding or bruising.

Honestly, I wouldn't lose sleep over this one. The evidence is only test-tube and animal level, and normal amounts of strawberries on your plate are very unlikely to matter. Since cangrelor is given in a closely monitored hospital setting, your care team is already watching for any bleeding. If you take concentrated strawberry supplements, just mention it to your doctor or pharmacist.
