Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains 3 active ingredients: bee pollen, fresh royal jelly, and bee propolis extract. Bee pollen is a protein-rich granule collected by honeybees; royal jelly is a creamy secretion bees produce to feed their queen and larvae; and propolis is a resinous mixture bees use to seal their hives.
The product also contains raw honey as an inactive ingredient.
Does it work?
Not established
The evidence for these ingredients is mixed. Royal jelly shows some promise for menopausal symptoms and is rated possibly effective.
Propolis has possibly effective evidence for oral mouth sores and cold sores, and possibly effective for diabetes. Bee pollen, on the other hand, is rated possibly ineffective for athletic performance and hay fever, and the evidence is insufficient to rate it for a range of other conditions including amenorrhea, prostate health, and hot flashes.
Overall, reliable evidence is limited for most claimed uses.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
All three ingredients are generally well tolerated by most people, but allergic reactions are the main safety concern — and they can be serious. Bee pollen and royal jelly are especially risky if you have a history of pollen allergies, asthma, or atopy (a tendency toward allergic conditions); royal jelly in particular has caused anaphylaxis and even death in sensitive people.
Propolis commonly causes mild headache (around 7% in one trial) and can trigger allergic reactions and contact dermatitis. Bee pollen has caused rare cases of liver inflammation and kidney problems.
All three ingredients lack enough safety data in pregnancy and breastfeeding, so they're best avoided during both.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking this product, check the medication lookup tool on this page for warfarin or other blood thinners (anticoagulants or antiplatelets), blood pressure medications, and any drug your doctor has told you is processed by your liver. These are the categories where the bee-derived ingredients carry documented Moderate-severity interaction concerns.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no established evidence rating for its marketed use. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
If you take warfarin, blood thinners, blood pressure medication, or drugs processed through your liver, talk to your pharmacist before using this product — the interaction risks are real. Anyone with a history of allergies to pollen, bee products, or asthma should be especially cautious.
For others, the main caution is the possibility of allergic reactions and the limited evidence for most uses.

Super Enriched Honey by Y.S. Eco Bee Farms Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Super Enriched Honey by Y.S.
Eco Bee Farms contains three active bee-derived ingredients, and together they interact with a substantial number of medications. The most serious concern is warfarin (a blood thinner used to prevent clots): both bee pollen and royal jelly can increase your bleeding risk on warfarin, and propolis may actually make warfarin less effective — a particularly risky combination.
Altogether, these interactions span 1,025 individual medications.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Bee propolis raises an additional concern through multiple liver enzymes (cytochrome P450 pathways). At high doses, propolis might increase blood levels of drugs your liver normally clears using these pathways — including medications for heart rhythm, depression, seizures, and many others.
Royal jelly can lower blood pressure, so if you take blood pressure medication, propolis and warfarin effects need checking. Be aware that propolis might also increase bleeding risk on antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs beyond warfarin.
Bee pollen itself has no documented interactions beyond warfarin. Please use the medication checker on this page to search your exact medications before starting this product.

For each ingredient in Super Enriched Honey with known interactions, here are the types of medications they can affect. Open any type for the detail — or search your exact drug in the checker above.
Bee Propolis extract
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Theoretically, propolis might increase the risk of bleeding when taken with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs.
In vitro research shows that propolis water extract and the propolis constituent, caffeic acid phenethyl ester, can inhibit platelet aggregation. Additionally, evidence from an animal model shows that taking propolis in addition to warfarin decreases INR, suggesting that propolis can decrease the effectiveness of warfarin.
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, high doses of propolis might increase blood levels of drugs metabolized by CYP1A2.
In vitro research shows that propolis extract can inhibit CYP1A2. However, animal research shows that propolis extract does not significantly affect CYP1A2 activity when administered to rats at doses up to 250 mg/kg. It is postulated that the constituents of propolis that inhibit CYP1A2 in vitro do not have significant effects in vivo due to low bioavailability and hepatic first-pass effect. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2C19 (Cyp2C19) Substrates
Theoretically, high doses of propolis might increase blood levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2C19.
In vitro research shows that propolis extract can inhibit CYP2C19. However, animal research shows that propolis extract does not significantly affect CYP2C19 activity when administered to rats at doses up to 250 mg/kg. It is postulated that the constituents of propolis that inhibit CYP2C19 in vitro do not have significant effects in vivo due to low bioavailability and hepatic first-pass effect. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2C9 (Cyp2C9) Substrates
Theoretically, high doses of propolis might increase blood levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2C9.
In vitro research shows that propolis extract can inhibit CYP2C9. However, animal research shows that propolis extract does not significantly affect CYP2C9 activity when administered to rats at doses up to 250 mg/kg. It is postulated that the constituents of propolis that inhibit CYP2C9 in vitro do not have significant effects in vivo due to low bioavailability and hepatic first-pass effect. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2D6 (Cyp2D6) Substrates
Theoretically, high doses of propolis might increase blood levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2D6.
In vitro research shows that propolis extract can inhibit CYP2D6. However, animal research shows that propolis extract does not significantly affect CYP2D6 activity when administered to rats at doses up to 250 mg/kg. It is postulated that the constituents of propolis that inhibit CYP2D6 in vitro do not have significant effects in vivo due to low bioavailability and hepatic first-pass effect. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2E1 (Cyp2E1) Substrates
Theoretically, propolis might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2E1.
In vitro research shows that propolis can inhibit CYP2E1. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 3A4 (Cyp3A4) Substrates
Theoretically, high doses of propolis might increase blood levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
Some in vitro research shows that propolis extract can inhibit CYP3A4; however, other in vitro research shows that propolis has no effect on CYP3A4 activity. Furthermore, animal research shows that propolis extract does not significantly affect CYP3A4 activity when administered to rats at doses up to 250 mg/kg. It is postulated that the constituents of propolis that might in inhibit CYP3A4 in vitro do not have significant effects in vivo due to low bioavailability and hepatic first-pass effect. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Warfarin (Coumadin)
Theoretically, propolis might decrease the effectiveness of warfarin.
Animal research shows that taking propolis in addition to warfarin decreases the international normalized ratio (INR). This effect has not been reported in humans.
fresh Royal Jelly
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, royal jelly might increase the risk of hypotension when taken with antihypertensive drugs.
Animal research suggests that royal jelly might lower blood pressure.
Warfarin (Coumadin)
Royal jelly might increase the risk of bleeding when taken with warfarin.
In one case, an 87-year-old male who was previously stabilized on warfarin developed hematuria and was found to have an INR of 7.29 after taking a royal jelly supplement for one week.
Bee Pollen
Warfarin (Coumadin)
There is some concern that bee pollen might interact with warfarin and increase the risk of bleeding.
In one case report, a patient on warfarin had a stable international normalized ratio (INR) of 1.9-3.3 for 9 months. The patient's INR was found to be 7.1 after starting bee pollen granules one teaspoon twice daily for approximately one month. The patient's warfarin dose was decreased by approximately 11% in order to return the INR to the therapeutic range while continuing the bee pollen supplement.
