Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
This product contains 7 ingredients, 5 of which are forms of vitamin E: D-gamma-tocotrienol, D-alpha-tocopherol, D-beta-tocotrienol, D-alpha-tocotrienol, and D-delta-tocotrienol. Together these are tocotrienols and tocopherols — natural compounds related to vitamin E — which work as antioxidants in your body.
The other active ingredients are plant squalene and phytosterol complex. The softgel also includes inactive ingredients like gelatin, glycerin, and medium chain triglyceride as the capsule and carrier.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
Vitamin E is effective for preventing and treating vitamin E deficiency and a rare genetic condition called ataxia with vitamin E deficiency (AVED). The evidence suggests it may be helpful for Alzheimer disease, beta-thalassemia, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency, and intracranial hemorrhage, though the data for those uses is still developing.
We don't hold effectiveness ratings for plant squalene or phytosterol complex in our data.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Vitamin E from food and normal dietary amounts is generally well tolerated. However, high-dose long-term supplements carry caution — they may increase the risk of bleeding, and there's some concern about a higher rate of hemorrhagic stroke (a type of brain bleed) in male smokers taking synthetic vitamin E over several years.
Most other studies haven't confirmed this stroke risk, but the bleeding concern is consistent. During pregnancy, food and prenatal-vitamin amounts are fine, but avoid high-dose supplements without your doctor's direction.
The same caution applies while breastfeeding — check with your doctor before taking high-dose supplements. Rare but serious side effects of high-dose oral vitamin E include bleeding and cardiovascular problems.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking this product, check with your pharmacist if you take blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs (Moderate severity), medications metabolized through CYP3A4 (which includes many common prescriptions, Moderate severity), chemotherapy drugs like cyclophosphamide or doxorubicin (Moderate severity), warfarin (Moderate severity), cyclosporine (Moderate severity), selumetinib (Moderate severity), or niacin (Minor severity). We hold no documented interactions for the plant squalene and phytosterol complex in this product.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This tocotrienol supplement makes sense if you have a diagnosed vitamin E deficiency or AVED. If you take blood thinners, antiplatelet drugs, warfarin, cyclosporine, certain cancer medications, selumetinib, or niacin, talk to your pharmacist before starting it — the interactions are real.
The bleeding risk appears dose-dependent, so your exact dose matters. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first.

Tocomin SupraBio Tocotrienols 100 mg by Allergy Research Group Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Tocomin SupraBio Tocotrienols by Allergy Research Group contains several forms of vitamin E, which interact with a notable range of medications.
The most serious documented interaction is with blood thinners (anticoagulants) and antiplatelet drugs — vitamin E can increase bleeding risk by interfering with how your body makes blood clots. This effect appears dose-dependent.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Vitamin E in this product may also interact with drugs that are metabolized through a liver pathway called CYP3A4 — which includes many common medications — potentially lowering their effectiveness. There's additional concern it could reduce the activity of certain chemotherapy drugs (alkylating agents and antitumor antibiotics), and it may increase cyclosporine levels if you're taking that immunosuppressant.
If you take warfarin (Coumadin) specifically, doses of vitamin E above 400 IU daily might raise your bleeding risk. Taking this product alongside selumetinib (Koselugo) could push your total daily vitamin E intake to unsafe levels.
Vitamin E may also blunt the HDL-cholesterol benefit of niacin.
We could not check plant squalene and phytosterol complex — we hold no interaction data for those ingredients. Altogether, these interactions span 754 individual medications.

Tocomin SupraBio
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Concomitant use of tocotrienols with anticoagulant or antiplatelet agents might increase the risk of bleeding. However, this has not been reported in humans.
Taking tocotrienols orally inhibits experimentally-induced platelet aggregation in humans. Theoretically tocotrienols might increase the risk of bleeding if taken with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs. However, tocotrienols 400-800 mg daily have been used with aspirin and/or clopidogrel for 1 year with no clear cumulative antiplatelet effects and no reports of bleeding.
