General Statements |
- Tri-Amino is a comprehensive product that combines three important amino acids into one easy-to-take formula. Arginine and Ornithine are amino acids that are components of the urea cycle. Urea is the major end product of protein metabolism. Ammonia, the product of amino acid breakdown, is toxic and must be removed from the body. The urea cycle or the "ornithine cycle" describes the conversion reactions of ammonia into urea. Since these reactions occur in the liver, the urea is then transported to the kidneys where it is excreted. Lysine is an essential amino acid that is known for its role in the maintenance of nitrogen balance. Together these amino acids are critical for protein metabolism.*
