Clinical
Theraflu Severe Cold Relief Nighttime is a chewable tablet taken by mouth that contains acetaminophen and diphenhydramine hydrochloride. Acetaminophen is typically used to reduce fever and relieve pain, while diphenhydramine is a first-generation antihistamine commonly used to reduce allergy symptoms and promote drowsiness. This is an over-the-counter monograph product, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for cold and cough medicines rather than as an individually reviewed drug application.
