Clinical
This is an over-the-counter liquid medicine taken by mouth, marketed under FDA's monograph rules for cold and flu nighttime products. It contains acetaminophen, which is typically used to reduce fever and relieve pain, along with dextromethorphan, a cough suppressant commonly used to reduce coughing. The product also includes doxylamine succinate, an antihistamine typically used to promote drowsiness and help with sleep during illness. This combination is formulated for nighttime use when multiple cold and flu symptoms occur together.
