Clinical
This is an over-the-counter oral liquid sold under the FDA's OTC monograph rules for nighttime cold and flu symptom relief. It contains acetaminophen, typically used to reduce fever and relieve pain and aches. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant commonly included in cold products to reduce coughing. Doxylamine succinate is an antihistamine that often appears in nighttime formulas because it can help with congestion and may cause drowsiness.
