🩺 Clinical
Acetaminophen is used to relieve mild to moderate pain and to reduce fever. Acetaminophen is in a class of medications called analgesics (pain relievers) and antipyretics (fever reducers). It works by changing the way the body senses pain and by cooling the body.
Read the full MedlinePlus article ↗This kit contains two oral liquid products: acetaminophen and a combination of acetaminophen with diphenhydramine HCl. Acetaminophen is commonly used to help reduce fever and relieve minor aches and pains. Diphenhydramine HCl is an antihistamine typically used to help relieve allergy symptoms and promote drowsiness. This is an OTC monograph product, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for over-the-counter pain relievers and antihistamines.
