Clinical
This is a topical cream makeup product that combines cosmetic coverage with sun protection. Titanium dioxide, the active ingredient, functions as both a physical sunscreen that reflects ultraviolet light and as a pigment that provides opaque coverage to the skin. The product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is regulated under FDA's established rules for sunscreen and cosmetic products rather than as an individually reviewed medication. It is typically used to provide long-wear camouflage coverage while offering broad spectrum SPF 15 sun protection.
