Clinical
Baza Protect is a topical cream containing zinc oxide and dimethicone. Zinc oxide is commonly used in skin protectant products to create a moisture barrier and shield the skin from irritants. Dimethicone, a silicone-based ingredient, functions similarly as a skin protectant and helps repel water. This is an over-the-counter monograph product, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for skin protectants rather than as an individually reviewed drug application.
