Clinical
Baza Protect is a topical cream containing zinc oxide and dimethicone, marketed as an over-the-counter product under FDA's monograph rules. Zinc oxide is commonly used in skin protectant creams to form a barrier on the skin and help protect against moisture and irritation. Dimethicone, a silicone-based ingredient, functions as an anti-chafing agent and helps create a smooth, protective coating. This product is typically used on areas prone to diaper rash, chafing, or minor skin irritation where a moisture barrier is desired.
