Clinical
This is an over-the-counter topical ointment containing lanolin and petrolatum, two occlusive moisturizing agents. Both ingredients are commonly used in skin care products to help soften and protect dry or irritated skin by forming a protective barrier and retaining moisture. The product is marketed under FDA's established monograph rules for this drug category rather than as an individually reviewed application.
