Clinical
This is an over-the-counter antiseptic wound wash sold as an aerosol spray for topical application to the skin. It contains benzalkonium chloride, an antimicrobial agent commonly used in wound cleansers and antiseptic products to help reduce bacteria on minor cuts, scrapes, and other minor wounds. The saline solution base helps rinse away debris and bacteria. This product is marketed under the FDA's over-the-counter monograph rules for antiseptic skin cleansers.
