Clinical
This is an over-the-counter film-coated tablet taken by mouth that combines three active ingredients typically used together for menstrual discomfort. Acetaminophen is commonly used as a pain reliever and fever reducer. Caffeine functions as a stimulant and is often added to pain-relief products to help improve their effect. Pyrilamine maleate is an antihistamine typically included in such formulas for its mild sedating properties. This product is marketed under the FDA's over-the-counter monograph system for these ingredient combinations.
