It contains four active ingredients, avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, and octocrylene, which are ultraviolet light absorbers commonly used together in sunscreen formulations to help protect skin from UVA and UVB sun exposure. This product is applied to the skin as a protective barrier rather than taken by mouth or injected.
