Avobenzone, octisalate, and octocrylene are ultraviolet (UV) filters that are typically used together to absorb and scatter UV radiation from the sun. The product is an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established safety and efficacy rules for sunscreen products rather than as an individually reviewed application.
