Clinical
This is a topical lotion moisturizer for facial use that contains zinc oxide as its active ingredient. Zinc oxide is commonly used in over-the-counter sunscreen products to help protect skin from ultraviolet (UV) radiation by reflecting and scattering UV rays away from the skin. This product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it follows established FDA guidelines for sunscreen ingredients and formulations rather than being individually reviewed and approved. The lotion form is intended for direct application to the face as part of a daily skincare routine.
