Clinical
This is an OTC monograph combination pack containing daytime and nighttime cold and flu softgels. The daytime formulation includes acetaminophen (a pain reliever and fever reducer), dextromethorphan (a cough suppressant), guaifenesin (an expectorant to help thin mucus), and phenylephrine (a nasal decongestant). The nighttime formula adds doxylamine succinate, a sedating antihistamine typically used to promote sleep during illness. This kit is designed for users wanting separate daytime and nighttime products to address cold and flu symptoms throughout the day and night.
