Clinical
This is an over-the-counter topical cream containing white petrolatum, a mineral oil-based ingredient commonly used as an emollient and skin protectant. White petrolatum is typically applied to the skin to help soften, moisturize, and form a protective barrier over dry or irritated areas. This product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established safety and use guidelines for this class of skin-care products rather than being individually reviewed as a new drug application.
